Synopsis:

The Air Armament Center (AAC) is hosting the Integrated Assessment Forum 2008 for interested defense contractors on Tuesday, 18 March 2008, 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Eglin AFB Conference Center, Eglin AFB, FL. The Symposium will feature comments by the Deputy PEO for Air Force Weapons, Ms Judy Stokley, and additional presentations by key leaders of AAC. This forum is planned to provide your company briefings on the following topics:
1. Update on Integrated Tools and Assessments
2. Logistics Health Assessment (LHA)
3. System Engineering and Risk Management
4. AFMC Weapons Independent Review Team results and AAC response
5. Acquisition Cost Estimating Update
6. Risk Based Source Selections
7. Contract Incentive Fee constructs
8. Future Concepts and Capabilities
9. AAC Portfolio Results

Industry participants will be offered brief (30 minute) one-on-one meetings scheduled for 19 Mar 2008. No specific program information will be discussed in the open forum.

The AAC intends to record the forum. Beginning 7 April 2008, current defense contractors may request a copy of the recorded session by contacting InDyne at (850) 882-4352. When requesting a copy, specify that you are requesting a copy of the AAC Industry Day Forum conducted on 18 Mar 2008, and include your current DoD contract number. There will be a nominal charge (approximately $20) for each copy. InDyne accepts credit cards (visa, master card) as well as personal checks.

To maximize the number of companies able to participate and due to facility space limitations, each company?s will be limited to seven individual representatives in attendance. Parties wishing to attend must RSVP by email no later than 20 Feb 2008 to Ms Brown at Terri.Brown@us.af.mil. The emailed request must include: (1) names/addresses/phone numbers of up to seven attendees from your company; (2) company name & address; (3) at least one current DoD contract number; (4) a designated Point of Contact with email/ address/ phone number; and (5) whether you would like to reserve a one-on-one session for 19 Mar 08.
