Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for the provision of Air Ambulance and Air Charter Services for BOP correctional institutions located across the United States and Puerto Rico. Each awarded BPA will have a maximum of 5 twelve month performance periods. The estimated quantities for each performance period are as follows: 906,861 air nautical miles for Air Charter Services and 140,192 air nautical miles for Air Ambulance Services. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 1, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is July 1, 2008. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote for consideration. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
