The purpose of this contract is to acquire services for the purpose of crushing and stockpiling aggregate and developing the West Limpy and Brown Material Source Pits on the North Umpqua and Tiller Ranger Districts, respectively. Work consists of some pre-development drilling, crushing and stockpiling aggregate and pit development. Estimated start work is October 1, 2008 with a project completion time of 45 calendar days for both sites. The contractor shall indicate to the Government how many cubic yards of crushed aggregate it can provide and stockpile for a designated amount of dollars. This is a Request For Proposals requiring completion of a Questionnaire; detailed technical proposals are not required; award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to rock crushing and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. Anticipated posting date for the solicitation is on or before June 6, 2008. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
