The U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Laredo Sector Border Patrol has a requirement to advertise via a local phonebook for recruitment purposes. The requirement is being awarded under FAR Part 13 and will result in issuance of a Purchase Order and is being issued as a Request for Quote. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quote number is HSBP1008Q1793. This is a Total Small Business se aside. One firm-fixed price order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of this request for quote. CLIN 00010-- Advertising on local area-wide phone book for twelve (12) months @____ per months.

STATEMENT OF WORK RECRUTIMENT BANNER IN THE AREA-WIDE PHONEBOOK Project Background In an effort to increase awareness of its aggressive recruitment efforts, the Laredo Sector Border Patrol Recruitment Department is requesting advertising in the Quad-County Area-Wide Phonebook. Description of Services. Contractor shall provide production and printing of the front cover banner on all 130,000 directories in the local Laredo area which includes Webb, Zapata, Jim Hogg and La Salle counties. The package shall include a front cover banner advertisement on all 135,000 printed phonebook directories in the Quad-County area, the White Pages Trademark Listing and advertising through a website such as google or yahoo. The artwork for advertisement will be provided by the U.S. Border Patrol. Period of Performance: September 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009 Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this acquisition. Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. The following FAR clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; 52.232-1 Payments; 52.232-8 Discounts for Prompt Payment; 52.233-1 Disputes; 52.243-1 Changes Fixed Price Alternate II (APRIL 1984); 52-247-34 F.O.B.
