The Government (88 CONS/PKA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is: SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, SAN DIEGO, CA.
(COST-PLUS-FIRM-FIXED CONTRACT)
The items being procured are:
ADAPTIVE OPTICAL COMPONENTS: MEMSDMD140; 140-CHANNEL FOR DEFORMABLE MIRROR DRIVER
(QUANTITY: 1 EACH);
USER MANUAL - (QUANTITY: ONE (1) HARD COPY);
DEVELOPMENT OF A LAB-VIEW SOFTWARE LIBRARY - TO INTERFACE WITH THE HARDWARE) (QUANTITY: 1 LUMP SUM);
and;
CUSTOMER/ON-SITE ONE (1) DAY TRAINING: (a) Operation of the software user interface; (b) Interface specifications for the PCI Express Link; (c) Integration of the DM drivers with a BMC 140 Channel DM; and (d) Installation of the PCI Express Card in a customer PC ;
Air Force Institute of Technology to supply the higher-cost hardware, as Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)
