The U.S. Army is replacing its current line of aging AC/DC power supply PP-4763 for approximately 500 new commercial-off-the-shelf/non-developmental item (COTS/NDI) power supply. The government is seeking to identify vendors who have a ruggedized COTS/NDI AC/DC power supply that can meet its Military application and operate in harsh environment from -20 deg Celsius to +55 deg Celsius, designed for High Shock & Vibration applications per MIL-STD-810. The new COTS/NDI AC/DC power supply shall be a tower like configuration measuring 18x9x15inches or smaller weighting less than 70 pounds with front panel control. The input/output hardware connectors shall be the same as the PP-4763 power supply with an on/off circuit breaker switch. The AC input power cable is a male plug drawing number SM-B-633342. The DC output terminal cable clamp strain drawing number is SM-B-640040. The AC/DC power supply specification is as follows: Power input voltage, 115/230 volts 10% at 47 to 68 single phases. DC variable power output voltage is 20 to 28 volts dc (28-volt operation). Maximum current at 80 amperes (full load 60 amperes continuous), Ripple voltage 1.0% (root mean square). Interested parties must identify their manufacturing capability to provide COTS/NDI AC/DC power supply. In addition, interested source shall provide range prices from 10-100, 101-200, 201-300, 301-400 and 401-500 and delivery schedule within 30 days after contract award.
