Description; Information:
The Department of Auxiliary Services is looking for information and pricing on a flooring solution which will assist in noise reduction in a college dormitory hallway.
The department plans test one section of a dormitory to determine how the solution holds up with heavy traffic and the acoustical value of the system. The hallway for testing is approximately 959 square feet, located on the first floor of Gaillard Hall. This is an Army Cadet Dormitory that has a lot of traffic. The floor currently has VCT on top of a concrete floor. (See attached photos)
