Synopsis:

The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to establish, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, an IDIQ contract with Microgenics Corporation as the only source that can provide 6-Acetylmorphine (6-AM) Reagent Kits. Microgenics Corporation shall provide 6 AM reagent kits for the drug labs located in San Diego, CA; Jacksonville, FL; Great Lakes, IL; Brooks City-Base, TX; Fort Meade, MD; and Tripler AMC, HI and Rockville, MD. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 325413 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within by 07 October 2008 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafied capability to fulfill the requirements.
