Description The IA Dept of Education seeks a vendor to assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive communication plan around how students with disabilities receive accessible instructional materials (AIM). General purposes include: 1) to quickly and effectively communicate with target audiences, 2) to help the target audiences understand the goals and guiding principles of AIM, and 3)foster direct, on-going communication between educators, parents, and students about AIM. Specific purposes include the following: 1) provide general awareness information (core messages) to target audiences about assistive technology, AIM, and the National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standards (NIMAS), 2)assist target audiences in understanding and using the processes in place for students with disabilities to receive AIM, and 3) design unique ways to communicate with target audiences to include web-based, powerpoints, fact sheets, brochures, and meeting presentations, etc..
