Copies may be secured from the Division of Purchasing, Room 266, Municipal Center, 441 Market Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434. Telephone: (757) 514-7523, Fax: (757) 923-2155. A written request should be submitted, accompanied by a check for $100.00 per set; limit two sets per firm. Firms requesting bidding documents via mail shall be assessed a $15.00 postage and handling fee per set; overnight service, if requested, shall be at the firms expense. Checks shall be made payable to the Treasurer, City of Suffolk. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED.

Purpose
|
|
The City of Suffolk shall accept sealed bids until 3:00 pm local time at the Finance Department, 441 Market Street, Room 266, Suffolk, Virginia 23434 on Thursday, June 5, 2008 to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, permits and fees to construct Access Control and Security Perimeter Fence at the Suffolk Executive Airport, 1200 Gene Bolton Drive, Suffolk, Virginia 23434-8159.

Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud on the date that the bids are accepted. Public opening shall be at 3:15 pm on the date of acceptance in the Administrative Services Conference Room, Suffolk Municipal Center, 441 Market Street, Room 250, Suffolk, Virginia.
