Overview
| 1. Removal and disposal of right-of-way fence, generally replacing obsolete 4-ft. woven wire right-of-way / field (Type 2) fence with 6-ft. chain link (Type 1) fence as indicated on the plans and as directed the Engineer. 2. Clearing certain isolated areas of the right-of-way for machinery, material, and labor access to the construction site in order to facilitate the proposed removal and replacement of the right-of-way fencing. 3. Turf and landscape restoration of cleared areas as needed to complete the work. The work under this Contract is to be performed on: the Ronald Reagan Tollway (I-88) between Mile Post 53.9 and Mile Post 113.3 in Lee, DeKalb & Kane Counties, and along the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) between Mile Post 19.1 and Mile Post 55.3 in Cook, Kane, McHenry & Boone Counties. |
