This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91YTV-08-T-0113. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. U.S. Army Areomedical Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama has a requirement for the following:
CLIN 0001: 3 EACH, AbaxisVetScan VS2 Blood Chemistry Analyzer, Product #: 1200-0000; with 0.1cc disposable tips (96 per pack); manual; power cord; power supply; 1 each thermal paper roll with adhesive back; software interface driver; USB cable; uninterruptible power supply backup; HP5650 color printer and 1 year warranty. Must be able to run chemistry, electrolytes, immunoassay and blood gas with accuracy from at least 2 drops of blood. Must have an easy to navigate user interface; small platform; full color touch screen; full range of instrument settings; reference range labels; rotor run status progress bar; screen saver time options; back-lit setting options; express mode; ability to measure hemolysis, lipemia or icterus; and have direct compatibility with supported USB peripherals such as keyboards and printers. Must operate at a speed capability of 10 minutes or less. Must be able to set and archive references ranges. Must be able to store a minimum of 5,000 records.
