Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole-source basis to the developer of the Abaqus Software. The vendor will provide current updates, effective software upgrades, support and licenses that is not available from other vendors. The requirement is for 12 Abaqus Analysis Tokens, Version 6.7 and two (2) Abaqus/CAE. This support is required for critical developmental programs utilized by technical department; no substitute is acceptable. Dassault Systemes Simulia Corporation, 166 Valley Street, Providence, RI 02909-2400 is the developer of this software which is proprietary. The NAICS code is 511210 with a size standard of $23.0 million. Award is estimated to be 29 July 2008. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
