Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement
SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR ONE (1) AZ/EL POSITIONER, ONE (1) MODEL TOWER, FIBERGLASS WITH AN AL-760-1P POLARIZATION AND INSTALLATION.
DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH ORBIT ADVANCED TECHOLOGIES. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Orbit Advanced Technologies, 506 Prudential Rd., Horsham, PA 19044. Description: Model Tower: 22' height, 24" slide travel, fiberglass with an AL-760-1P Polarization. 22 ft length tower made of non-metallic material that must interface with ORBITZ linear table and roll axis positioned. At this length of 22 ft, the maximum load cannot be less than 350 lbs at 90-degree position. This is used to place a test antenna in the quiet zone of the Anchoic Chamber.
