The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Alaska Military Youth Academy, is soliciting proposals for a contractor to conduct Carpentry classes to select Academy students. All work is to be performed, completed, and managed in the Alaska Military Youth Academy Carpentry Shop, Building 60722, located at Camp Carroll on Fort Richardson, Alaska. Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Alaska Military Youth Academy, estimates a budget of less than $15,000.00 for the one class. Subject to the availability of appropriated funds.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at 1 p.m. local time on April 11, 2008 in Mr. Masters office (ph: 384-6028) of Building 60706, Camp Carroll, Fort Richardson, Alaska. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the work to be performed with the prospective offerors and allow them to ask questions concerning the IRFP. Questions and answers may be transcribed and sent to prospective offerors.
