Body of Notice:
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Alaska Military Youth Academy, is soliciting proposals for a contractor to conduct Emergency Trauma Technician instruction to at risk youth between the ages of 16 & 18 years. All work is to be performed, completed, and managed in the Alaska Military Youth Academy located at Camp Carroll on Fort Richardson, Alaska. The contractor will be responsible for all personal travel expenses to and from the Academy during the time class is in session, and for obtaining Fort Richardson identification cards and Department of Defense vehicle registrations for daily access. Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Alaska Military Youth Academy, estimates a budget of less than $15,000.00 for the one class. Subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at 2 p.m. local time on April 11, 2008 in Mr. Masters office (ph: 384-6028) of Building 60706, Camp Carroll, Fort Richardson, Alaska. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the work to be performed with the prospective offerors and allow them to ask questions concerning the IRFP. Questions and answers may be transcribed and sent to prospective offerors.
