Synopsis:

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and NESDIS Acquisition Division SAP Team on behalf of NOAA intends to award on a sole source basis to the American Fisheries Society, for rental of booth space during the AFS Annual Conference. The Government believes this vendor is the only source. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541990 (Directory and Mailing List Publishers) and size standard is $6.0. The Government intends to negotiate on a single source basis with the American Fisheries Society, in accordance with FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 13, current through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. Notwithstanding the Government's intent to negotiate this requirement on a single source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may submit a statement of technical capabilities which shall be considered by the agency. Information submitted in response to this notice must be in sufficient detail to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. Responses from this notice may be submitted via email to Gina E. Lee at gina.e.lee@noaa.gov, no later than 12:00 noon August 28, 2008, Eastern Standard Time. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above.
