The Postal Service is seeking interest from General/Prime Contractors for a fixed price contract for the Alternate Quarters Build-Out in Portland, Oregon River District DCU. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, superintendence, services and equipment to complete construction of a new facility, approximately 23,000 square feet, and improvements to the USPS owned facility. The total construction time for this project is 270 days; estimated cost range is $3.M to $3.2M. THIS SOLICITATION IS OPEN TO GENERAL/PRIME CONTRACTORS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: (1) Company must have a minimum of five years experience in this type of work. (2) Company must have completed four comparable projects within the past five years. (3) Company must be capable of obtaining performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price for this project. (4) Have an established office within a 450 mile radius of the project site at the time of this solicitation. Any award made under this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror who provides the best value to the Postal Service.
