This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number assigned for this procurement will be EA133F-08-RQ-0882. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and subsequent contract will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The associated NAICS code is 334290 and small business size standard number of employees is 750.

SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES:
Item 0001: All-In-One GPS Communication Tracking Device. Qty of TEN (10) each.

DESCRIPTION OF ITEM:
-Water resistant to two feet
-Reports the position in real time to the laptop base station using a cellular network
-Logs historical GPS positions when not in cell tower range
-Can be called upon by the user at any time with a laptop via the internet to report and download a copy of all the positions
-Can be programmed via the internet for the frequency of the positioning
-Can be programmed via the internet to send text messages and email alerts when movement starts or stops
-Can be programmed via the internet to send alerts when specific, user defined areas, are entered or exited (this is called geo fencing)
-Can identify speed, course/direction.
-Has a battery life of at least 10 days
-Is self contained, not hard wired to the vehicle
-Has a magnetic housing, not an additional mount or case
-Is relatively small
-Will go into sleep mode when not in motion
-Has a one time "no questions asked" replacement if lost or damaged with in the first two years of purchase
