THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
This is a solicitation of Purchase Request F1W4MG8157A002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) after alloted site visit for 11 Aug 2008, at 1300. Please contact Larry Vester, at 907-552-5459, prior to 8 Aug 2008, for base access coordination. All interested parties must attend the site visit in order to submit the offer. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337215 with a small business size standard of 500. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses.
This solicitation also includes brand name or equal line items. Brand name or equal description is intended to be descriptive and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be considered satisfactory to meet the agency's needs.
All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following:
Line Item 0001: Contractor shall provide a photographic historical display of the ALCAN highway construction during 1942. Photos of the various military construction units shall be used. A visual representation of the ALCAN highway shall be used to highlight mileposts and photo identifications. Photos used shall be identified and described. Approximate wall length available for display is 60 feet. Contractor must be the owner of all photos used for this display. Submittal mock up required from the contractor. The 3 MDG shall provide an initial mock-up indicating a conceptual display.
Additionally, offers of equal quality must include a copy of the technical description and/or product literature, as well as, a description of commercial warranty.
Delivery shall be completed not later than 180 days after receipt of an order and shall be FOB Destination.
