Description
BACKGROUND: The FAA ATCOTS Industry Day scheduled for November 14, 2007 was canceled due to an evacuation of the FAA Headquarters building caused by heating problems. The heating problems resulted from a rupture in the building's air conditioning chilled water system. As a result, the FAA informed participants that Industry Day would be rescheduled at a later date. Previous announcements regarding the ATCOTS program can be obtained on the FAA Contract Opportunities website (http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm). Click on "Current Announcements" in the left-hand menu. On the Current Announcements screen, type "ATCOTS" in the search "by keyword" field. Be sure to check the "Include Archive" checkbox to view all announcements.      PURPOSE: The purpose of this announcement is to inform interested vendors that the FAA has rescheduled Industry Day at the FAA Headquarters building in Washington, DC on Friday, December 14, 2007, from 1pm to 3pm.    The location of the event is provided below: FAA Auditorium, 3rd Floor FAA Headquarters, Orville Wright Building, Bldg FB/10A 800 Independence Avenue, S.W. Washington, D.C. 20591 All vendors interested in attending the industry day should submit a list of the names and titles of its company representatives to the FAA Contracting Officer not later than 2:00 noon Eastern Standard Time on December 10, 2007. Vendors with foreign national employees attending the industry day should complete the FAA form 1600-78, and include with the list of names. The list can be sent via email to Darryl Anderson at darryl.anderson@faa.gov.    All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any costs incurred that are associated with any submissions received from industry in response to this announcement. All costs associated with this announcement will be solely at the interested party's expense.
