This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N68593-08RC-00009. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued.
FISC Norfolk intends to purchase four (4) each: Air Handling units for cooling in the Server Room (building 470, room 143) for the Naval Ocean Processing Facility. The air handling units shall provide the following characteristics: minimum 200,00 BTU cooling capacity and 140,000 BTU heating capacity, 24 inch floor stands with leveling feet, hot water reheat, non-locking disconnect switch, 200,000 hour bearings, 15,000 CFM air flow, no-humidifier, minimum 20% efficient filter. The units shall be off-white in color. Delivery shall be 8 weeks after the receipt of order, FOB: Point Destination to Naval Ocean Processing Facility, 352 Bullpup St, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-3392.
