Synopsis:

The US Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, DOC, Ft Gordon, GA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 for a commercial item FAR Part 12 for Software. Brand name items will be considered with sufficient descriptive characteristics submitted with quote by the due date required. The solicitation will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry and may be accessed at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The NAICS code is 423430. The size standard is 100 employees. The solicitation is issued 100% set aside for small business. Commercial Items Provisions and clauses in accordance with FAR Part 12 are applicable to this requirement. In accordance with DFARS 52.204-7004 regarding Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prospective contractor(s) must be registered in the CCR data base prior to award of contract. Prospective contractors may register electronically via website: www.ccr.gov . The due date for offers is 0800AM Eastern Standard Time, 18 July 2008.
