Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Heavy Equipment Rental) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-08-Q-0025 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7359. The small business size standard is 500 EMP. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9.The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W085. This solicitation is for the rental of heavy equipment for an upcoming range project. The equipment for CLIN 0001 through CLIN 5 will be leased from May 1, 2008 to June 27, 2008. The end-user has requested that all equipment wheels will have 50% of tire tread wear or better, and all cabs must be enclosed with heating units. The enduser is also looking for a flat rate vice hourly rate. Items will be delivered to Bldg 2155 to and then escorted to the Rifle Range aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Twenty-nine Palms, CA.
