Synopsis:

The Army Space and Missile Defense Command requires performance of Scope of Work entitled Advanced Thermal Management of Data Processing Systems and Electronic Enclosures. The Government intends to award this effort to Digital Fusion Solutions, Inc., under Contract W9113M-07-C-0088 Modification P00015 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. Digital Fusion Solutions is currently responsible for maintenance of configuration control on the affected enclosures and is the only source with access, via teaming arrangement, to proprietary information that is required to perform this effort and is available solely from Rocky Research. The Government has determined that award of this effort to any other source would result in duplication of costs to the Government and unacceptable delays in performing the effort. The period of performance is 24 months from date of award, expected in August 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to the U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, P.O. Box 1500, Huntsville, AL 35807-3801, ATTN: SMDC-RDC-AK/Koger. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal from any source other than Digital Fusion Solutions, Inc.; however, all submissions received will be considered by the Government.
