Synopsis:

Intent to Sole Source - Insights Direct
The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSCDVAMC), Cleveland, Ohio, Research Department, intends to sole source this procurement to Insights Direct to provide knowledge in analysis of quantitative data and participate in the analyses of data. The LSCDVAMC believes this to be a sole source due to contractor's prior knowledge of existing databases of the Diabetes Epidemiologic Cohort (DEpiC) and the VA External Peer Review Program (EPRP). This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(A) -Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 541720 and has a size standard of 6.5 million to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed with sole sourcing this requirement to Insights Direct.
